A quick Trade Post...

So, whilst surfing my blog list last week, on the Thoughts and Sox blog I spied a Halladay up for trade that Things Are Funner Here ** had not claimed yet! But more importantly to my delight, I also spied a Gold Bordered Moyer up for grabs. I quickly laid claim to all the Phillies on the screen, and went to work on a nice little trade offer.
Adam E. did not disappoint, accepting my meager offer...
Fast forward to Saturday, and showing up in the mail:

I now have three of the 5 known versions of the 2011 Moyer (base, gold border, & diamond bedazzled), if you have either the Target throw back or Walmart black-out version (or another that I don't know of), Please contact me as I really want to collect them all.

** I hope the small jabs at Things Are Funner Here come off as funny, they are intended as such. It seems as though I've been chasing her trade leavings for the last month or so as she has snatched up most Phillies before I've managed to complete some trades. I'm just glad that I do collect other teams and have been able to get some GReat cards for my other PCs through the whole deal. Happy trading everyone.

MCG, The rest of the story!

So, the final cards received from my MCG haul were not too spectacular, but I felt bad leaving them in unclaimed purgatory...

The truly sad part (or hilarious, depending on your point of view) is I've already got another 1983 Tug McGraw from the Diamond giveaway!! I think it was the second or third card unlocked!!

MCG-2

up next is the second trade I made in the MCG Transmogrifier. courtesy of Dayf, over at Cardboard Junkie, I trade a card that I'd never think of shipping, for one that ended up looking like they dragged it part of the way to my house, the scuff mark almost wipes out the 2nd O in B O S T O N. MCG anyone?

Well,
I finally received my MCG cards in the mail this week.
up first is the 1st:

the first of the 3 Schmidt All-Star cards. It is the first that I received, either through trading or a group break, but the 2nd to actually have in hand. If you'll remember, I posted about the 1st one in hand here. Well, as soon as I get my group break stuff in the mail from BA Benny's Ragu Break, I will have the 2nd of these that I received, and will be a third of the way to my first page of Schmidt, All Stars, that is.
