Contest Winnings...

So, as an avid reader of the Sports Card Info blog. I am also an avid entrant in his numerous weekly contests. At least the ones that DON'T involve twitter (Dawgs don't Tweet, Tweety Boids is for Puddy Tats!).

Anyways, Ross had a contest for two packs of NBA Teenymates figures and I won!! They showed up in yesterday's mail and here are the results:

one slightly ripped package.

one of the included checklists.

two figures per package netted me: Indiana Pacers, Sacremento Kings, Orlando Magic and the Denver Nuggets.

nice evil-little smirks they got going on there!

and each package also has two puzzle pieces.

Needless to say, I will not be pursuing anymore of these figures as I am not into basketball, so that means these lil guys are available to a good home as well.

Thanks for the contest Ross, you rock DUDE!!

Thanks for reading,
Have a GReat day!

Today's my Favorite November Holiday...

Happy Veteran's Day to all whom have gone in harm's way to protect all that I hold dear. They share a special bond that those who have never served couldn't possibly understand. On this day that has been set aside to honor those who have served or are serving, I stand with my head bowed and offer thanks for those that have survived to retire, and a prayer for those currently serving, that they remain safe until such time as their services are no longer required and they too may come to know a life of ease and retirement after a job WELL DONE.

I would also like to give thanks and pay a special respect to the families who supported their Veteran during their time of service or are currently supporting their Veteran. They are the ones who have stood by or are standing by during times of trouble as their Veteran answered or answers the call of our country.

GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS AND GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

My father, Richard H. Nebe Sr., SCPO USN retired, spent 28 years in the U.S. Navy.
Thanks for that Dad.

I know there are a few of my readers and fellow bloggers that have volunteered for a stint or two in our Armed Services and today is a day when I want to personally say thanks to you for a job well done. And thanks to your wives, girlfriends, family and friends that stood by your side and sacrificed while you served.

Thanks for reading,
Have a GReat Veteran's day!
