Rant, maybe... Unhappy, YES!

So I bought two more packs of Teenymates, plus I had one at the house that I'd opened a while back.

The Athletics/Dodgers combo was in the two packs I bought. I'm resigned to the fact that I'm going to get duplicates at this point in the progression, but to blindly pull two packs and have them both contain the same figure/puzzle pieces just sucks!! The rest of the photo show the duplicates that I have available for trade as I am still trying to get the remaining five pieces.

FCBD 2014

I attended this year's FCBD at Zeno's also, and got to hang out with Bill Meiggs for a while too. You'll recall from last year's post, I got a free sketch card done by him of Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch. It's framed and hanging in my cubicle at work.

And this year is no exception as Bill was also doing free sketch cards, adding to my collection.

I now have Aunt Petunia's Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing:

and he looks GReat hanging with 'ole Flamehead at work! Thanks for another awesome sketch-card Bill!
