29 years ago today...

I remember standing in my bedroom, still living with my parents, about half-way through my junior year of high school, when the radio broke in with an emergency newscast. Seven brave men and women lost their lives in a tragic accident.

Just 73 seconds after a "routine" lift off, US space shuttle Challenger exploded, taking her entire crew with her.



I salute these seven, and all those who've gone before and since:



To have the courage to reach for the stars...
