Swimmin with the fishes...

Though technically, they're mammals. Picked up a story from my local newspaper this morning and thought I'd share.

As most of you know, I live in the GReater Tidewater are known as Hampton Roads, which consists of 7 sister cities, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and of course, Virginia Beach. I've been out dolphin watching on a charter boat out of the beach, so dolphins are a normal sight for the ocean front, but downtown Norfolk? On the Lafayette river?

Yep, these photos were snapped from the bank of the river over the weekend.

pretty cool!
thanks for reading.
Have a GReat night!
