The other pack, and the question mark answered...

The second of the two packs of 2009 Upper Deck Major League Baseball Goodwin Champions nets me 1 Red Sox mini, a Cub, a football player, and a Basketball player.

The Football and Basketball cards are the reason for the question mark. Come on, the freaking package is marked Major League Baseball for crying out loud. My regular readers know me. Know I don't collect football. Know I don't collect basketball. Hell, I normally don't enter contests that feature these two sports as prizes. I'll leave these two categories for those that would better appreciate them. If I wanted football or basketball cards, I would buy packs of them. Leave this SHIT out of my baseball cards please, or at least mark the package so I know there's at least a chance of the package not having baseball cards in it!!

Anywhoo, obviously, if anyone needs them, the Manning and Garnett cards are available. At least they are players I actually seen in the paper, and NOT because they've broken the law!!

Thanks for reading,
Thanks for hearing me rant,
Have a Great day!

Whoa... alright Dawgbones, it's time for an intervention... deep breaths, it's going to be ok... just calmly put down the non-baseball cards and step away... we have this nice jacket for you, the arms tie around in back and you'll be alright...

haha, I'm with you on the contest thing, I try not to enter them if they don't have baseball cards, but I can always use them as trade fodder...

The nice people in the white coats gave me a new jacket. It has buckles & I can hug myself!!!

I had the same response (well, maybe not the same) when I first opened a few packs of Goodwin Champions. I don't mind since I follow the NFL and occasionally the NBA. But I too was shocked to see non baseball cards in the pack, esp. since there was no mention of it on the wrapper

Goodwin can be really bad about that, too. I opened a discounted blaster the other day and one of the packs actually had ZERO baseball cards.

I'm mixed about that too. I used to collect some basketball and hockey, but now I just want to be rid of those sports. Why do they keep giving me these cards? Whyyyyyyy?
